ORIGINAL PAINTED SLATE

" I find inspiration in so much around me. I love the natural world and find so many ideas for my artwork just by being outside, particularly for me in the area we live in Devon.

I have started to paint on reclaimed slate when I realised that it made a beautiful and interesting canvas for my artwork. It has a story of its own due to years out in the elements, which enhances my artwork on it. I mount my slates on painted board to frame the picture. "
